Dogs on Deployment doesnt just help active duty, we help #Veterans too. What happens when a veteran needs in-patient treatment for emotional or physical wounds from war, but they dont have support for their companion animals? Often times, they refuse treatment, putting their pets care over their own health. We believe that veterans who have honorably served, no matter if from Vietnam or Afghanistan, deserve the opportunity to seek needed medical treatment, without having to worry about their pets.
