Doing a workshop tomorrow with the year 12 girls from The Lakes College focusing on how to do their makeup for job interviews and then how to take that same look and glam it up for night time. We are also exploring the unattainable image of women that is presented in the media - photoshopped images etc and how makeup should enhance our natural beauty not hinder it. I am looking forward to teaching them how to correctly apply makeup and use it to make them feel special. A great end of school activity for the year 12 girls I think and a huge thank you to the wonderful Teagan Head of Secondary at The Lakes for allowing this inspirational workshop for the girls.
