Doing an unexpected good deed can feel so good... Was on our way back from lunch (in Wellfleet) and in a long line of traffic, which had slowed because a car had broken down. A little further up an older woman (looking much like it couldve been me) was trying to thumb. Ross pulls over to ask where she needs to go, and tearfully she told us--being so upset because of the car trouble (a rental) & so far out from anywhere. Turns out that she was from London & staying in Provincetown, so we drove her to the police station then on to house she was renting for the summer.
