Doing the get out today for What Happened Bridgie Cleary I was - TopicsExpress

Doing the get out today for What Happened Bridgie Cleary I was struck by how lucky I am to do the job I do. It has it highs and its lows but packing away the set (all clothes and costumes) I spotted costumes I had worn 20/15 years ago and recognised coats, dresses from shows I had seen. Each item brought to my mind a very special memory. Theatres power is that it lives in the memory of the audience and also of actors directors designers, who do it, but how lucky am I to have such memories from both sides. Seared in my memory is Donal McCann in The Faith Healer in 1981 in the just opened Belltable Arts Centre, also as a performer the sheer joy of being a member of the cast of Pigtown by Mike Finn, I mention these 2 but there are so many more, thank you all who have inspired me, worked with me, and come along and supported me, over the years.
