Domestic help arrested with stolen jewelry Police arrested a domestic help and recovered stolen gold jewelry worth rupees 3 lacs from him while he was trying to flee from the valley. Fayaz Ahmad Mutoo of Baghat Barzulla reported in Police Station Sadder Srinagar that his domestic servant Sandeep Ghansi resident of Jharkhand has fled away after stealing gold ornaments worth lacs from his house. Police registered a case FIR no. 17/2014 under section 381 RPC and launched a manhunt for the fleeing accused. With the help of technical inputs the accused thief was tracked at Nowgam railway Station. Police party arrested the accused with the stolen property while trying to flee from the valley in the train.
