Don, is the SPCA Noida mascot. Hes been around forever - since inception, I think - year 2001. (My association with the SPCA, btw, started much later, in end 2006.) His hind legs are paralyzed, but his spirits not ! No way. When he has to fight, this alpha dog manages to lift himself, and runs ! Which is what hes doing in the first picture, taken some years ago. The 2nd picture was taken by me a couple of weeks ago, when the sweetie was in slumber. This evening, I and my colleagues on the management, Sajal Srivastava and Anuradha Dogra, get a text message from Vidhi, which was this : Don is not well. He is not getting up at all, not eating and not even drinking water. We have started the treatment after consulting Dr. Jain. Sent his blood sample also. I am really worried. Pls pray for him. So thats how it is. Vidhi and Emmanual have been very lovingly fussing over him, trying to prop him up, feed him. But Don is an old old man. Please do keep him in your prayers. We shall keep you updated.
