Donald Duck skewering Hitler was not only provocative and very funny in 1943, but it won an Academy Award. Kind of relevant to #TheInterview and the #SonyHack debacle were facing today. Would Disney have cancelled Der Fuehrers Face had Nazi Germany learned of it and made terror threats? Dont get me wrong, Im sure the humor of The Interview is far more low-brow and way less clever than what Donald Duck offered, but the sentiment is still the same; its perfectly natural and even cathartic to mock the enemy in this way. I hope somebody shoves a copy of The Interview right up Kim Jong Uns chubby little ass once they start airdropping DVDs into North Korea.
