Donald Sterling is getting a very raw deal. He is a senile older man who was betrayed by a girlfriend who revealed a conversation that Sterling believed was totally private. He has a reputation as a slum lord, and it is an open secret in the Clipper organization about his racial biases. But he was undone by foolish jealousy of a young woman that made him say unwise things. That said, I do not like Magic Johnson either. He flashes that charming smile, but his eyes are cold as ice. It remains to be seen if this leads to Magic owning the Clippers.
