And the servants of David feared to tell him that the child was dead: for they said, Behold, while the child was yet alive, we spake unto him, and he would not hearken unto our voice: how will he then vex himself, if we tell him that the child is dead? But when David saw that his servants whispered, David perceived that the child was dead: therefore David said unto his servants, Is the child dead? And they said, He is dead. There was a man with a death sentence who cried out to Jesus, Luke 23:42-43 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise. Would you like to know what our loved ones who have crossed over into life everlasting are not doing in the presence of God? They are not sad, they are not grieving, they are as they were when we knew them in perfect health. Jesus reveals this truth with clarity for the peace of all in faith of his promise. And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them. And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus. And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here. What is the promise of Jesus with everlasting life? It is this. very promise, John 11:26 Whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. As Jesus was crucified, he spoke of a time that was arriving ... But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.
