Dont be a fool to miss this nice post. Here is our players performance explanation on the last nights match against Bayern Munich. Iker Casillas: Made a fantastic close-range save to deny Gotze in the late stages and commanded his area brilliantly to earn a vital clean sheet. Pepe: A colossal performance from the Portuguese defender. He was everywhere, putting his body on the line, dominating aerially and covering well too. Sergio Ramos: Partnered Pepe excellently, controlling himself to avoid a yellow card and possible suspension, but still making a few fantastic challenges and countless clearances. Fabio Coentrao: Undoubtedly one of the best player of Real Madrid on pitch last night. Worked tirelessly throughout the entire game, contending with Robben as well as breaking upfield excellently to provide a few devilish crosses, one of which found Benzema for the goal. Daniel Carvajal: Didnt allow Alaba to overlap down the left-hand side and stood up well to Ribery, who had a quiet game as a result. Xabi Alonso: A wonderful outing from the experienced midfielder, he made a fantastic last ditch challenge to deny Muller late on, as well as breaking up play excellently. Luka Modric: Held onto possession superbly, which became useful when Real Madrid wanted to run down the clock near the end. Showed his intelligence consistently when on the ball. Ángel Di María: Didnt manage to go on as many driving runs from midfield and spurned a great first-half chance. Despite this, the Argentine showed superb intensity. Isco Alarcon: Showed his ability to work defensively, dropping deeper and pestering Robben. Conceded plenty of fouls, but did his job well. Cristiano Ronaldo: Had a few snapshots at goal, but only tested Neuer on one occasion. A quiet night by the Portugals usual standards, but released Coentrao brilliantly for the opening goal. Replaced by Bale out of precaution over his injury. Wasnt fully fit, but played good though. Karim Benzema: Took his goal well and used his movement to work space. Kept hold of the ball excellently, ensuring that his team-mates could come up in support. Raphaël Varane: A great showing off the bench, making a number of brilliant back-post headers to ensure that Mandzukic and Martinez had little luck in the penalty area. Gareth Bale: Ran the channels well, to give Real Madrid an outlet late on. Provided a couple of useful cut-backs from the byline. Impossible 50 likes for our players nice performance last night?
