Dont call yourself a leader, an activist, community organizer, civil rights leader, a revolutionary if your not gonna be with those that are following you til there is a solution!! Dont lead people to hopelessness!!! Every injustice I stood up for and fought against I was there til the end and made sure there was a change that happened!! Hip Hop 4 Haiti every single donation that we personally shipped to the children of Haiti had MY logo on it with smiling faces and gratitude from them to ALL the key city organizers I gathered. Today they still know that a grassroot committee from the US helped them first ;-) The SB-1070 video went viral and all of us artists involved performed, spoke on every rally, march, solution meetings in order for the bill to be revised. Trayvon Martin, Oscar Grant I stood by their families and with the help of key organizers we marched, we rallied, I put on town hall meetings!!! Now this isnt in no way shape or form to boast on what I have done. Im a bridger!! I have brought people together to fight for a bigger battle and as long as Im living I will never lead people to leave them!!! Ive been next to the best of them, many times I got the best of them to speak at the marches, rallies, etc. But even the best of them I choose very lightly, feel out their intentions so they to dont yell and scream to people off of a bridge!! We are in a time where we must know the intentions of leaders, activists, etc. just recently I saw a lot of undercover police, etcetera at these marches to get the people to go burn this down, walk on freeways, jump on police cars, etc. In the midst of revolution keep your 3rd eye on and use your spirit of discernment cuz the devil likes to lead 2!!!
