Dont forget if you have an outside dog, or a bird in a cage, chooks or guinea pigs to keep the water up to them, make sure they have shade and maybe even give them a gentle spray with the hose. We just put our hose nozzle on mist and sprayed it on the edge of our cockatiels cage; he was so excited, hanging upside down with his wings spread! Maybe hose off the cement or verandah where your dog is lying to cool it a little, and put a shallow dish of water outside for any hot and thirsty wild birds. Animals feel the heat just like we do 🐶
