Dont forget our monthly Parent/Carer Support meeting Monday 21st October, 7.30-9.30pm at our new HQ – 1b Lowe Street, Macclesfield, SK11 7NJ This month it is our AGM which will be very short but will inform you of where we are upto with fundraising/grants and looking ahead at what else we are hoping to offer in the future – any ideas would be looked. After the AGM we have a lady coming from CEREBRA to tell us all about who they are and what they can do to help you. Founded in 2001, Cerebra is a unique national charity that strives to improve the lives of children with brain-related neurological conditions, through research, education and direct, ongoing support. Cerebra funds research into the problems arising from brain injury and disability in infants, offers services that include a postal lending library, grant scheme, regional officers and sleep counsellors. The Charity also provides a holiday home, Vallecchia, which is free to Cerebra members. The Cerebra Innovation Centre helps parents and carers access specialist equipment that is not readily available elsewhere.
