Dont forget to share your opinion on Protecting and Promoting the Open Internet. The FCC is reviewing our comments later this month about not allowing the telcos to throttle the internet by charging premiums for a fast lane for big internet sites and throttling the rest of the universe to slow bandwidth, likely making some things, such as streaming video and audio (including your favorite internet radio stations like Boss Boss Radio and Martini In The Morning) impossible (at the least unbearable). The proposed rules will allow Verizon, Comcast, Time Warner, AT & T and the other internet backbones to hold the internet hostage for the millions of website owners who cannot pay big money to be in the fast lane of bandwidth. The FCC is chaired by a former Cable Company Chairman. Guess whos side hes on? Also, the telcos are the second largest lobby in the US after the auto manufacturers, so guess whos going to side with the telcos? Thats right, our elected officials. Stand up, make your voice be heard, help keep the internet free and fair for everyone. Our only enemy is complacency.
