Dont get me wrong. I love sci fi. I love some action. I love movies where I can just shut down my brain for a while. But: whats the hype about Guardians of the Galaxy about? Nostalgia? Sure, a nice little flick, nicely thoughtfree in a way, solid sci fi fun. But: extremely shallow characters, no depth at all, very boring story (get the artefact of power .. yeah, great)... nice to watch, but also quickly forgotten ... how did they end up with more than 8 points on IMDB?
