Dont let anyone steal your joy. Shoot what you want to shoot and edit it how YOU love it and NOT the way you are told its supposed to be. I was attacked recently because of my sun flare and my cooler tones with my greens. My images were placed on a page and it was repeatedly attacked saying that I had no idea how to fix white balance. And you know what, 2 yrs ago I would have cried in the corner because of that but now I just laugh it off and dont even worry about it. You see, how we shoot, what we shoot and our style is a reflection of us. I dont expect everyone to like what or how I shoot and Im ok with that. You need to be too. Those other photogs ARE NOT your paying clients, your clients choose YOU because they love you and your work and in my book, THEY are the only ones that matter. I shoot for my clients and NOT other photogs. When I changed my thinking, it was so freeing. I encourage you to do the same. There are so many people in the world and there are clients for everyone, dont be discouraged by others. Just a little PSA for today. :) xo
