Dont let these libtard, socialsts fool you with inaccurate comparisons. They are looking for emotion (typical for dumbocrat politicians) to supplant law. Truman desegregated the military as the commander-in-chief, no difference than the ignorant action of Clinton disarming the military while on base. Nothing constitutional. Lincoln dealt with Americans who were already citizens when he declared emancipation. This numbnut wants to take criminals, who have invaded our country illegally (dont forget that there is a LEGAL road to being here), who openly defy out laws and culture, and bypass a system of laws that specifically detail their illegal status for purely political gain. If that is not enough, the constitution SPECIFICALLY identifies that it is CONGRESS that establishes the path to citizenship, not an arbitrary act of a dictator. There should be no split. This act is open defiance of the constitutional oath that ovamit swore, that ALL of congress swore, and that Americans should DEMAND from those in Washington! Even the rinos are more concerned with their political future than the rule of law that directs this country. ENOUGH. GOP split over immigration as Obama prepares executive action Other Democrats reminded reporters Thursday that several of Obama’s predecessors have acted without congressional support. “Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation, and there was much to be said about it at the time. But he led with executive action,” said Rep. Al Green (D-Tex.), adding later: “When Truman signed the order desegregating the military, there was much being said. But it desegregated the military.” Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.), an advocate for an overhaul of immigration law, has been counseling House Republicans this week about the need to show empathy for undocumented workers as the party rails against the Obama administration, according to GOP aides familiar with his deliberations. He is concerned that too much vitriol could send the wrong message to Hispanic voters.
