Dont look back... the words spoken to Lot and his wife and daughters as they fled Sodoms destruction by the angels of their salvation. Jesus mentioned this story when talking about the day He receives His bride at His coming. Dont turn back, dont look back, dont go get your coat, purse, or anything else of this world. He finished this statement with... remember Lots wife. Well, what happen to lots wife? She looked back, and became a pillar of salt. Why? Because she Longed for the things she left behind Jesus said. The things of this world, and this life. Jesus said; If you do not love me more than your life; you are not worthy of me. This means, your wife, husband, kids grandkids, friends, house, money, property... and you look back longing for what you left behind... you dont deserve Him. Its not going to be a conga line to the pearly gates, it will be people swept up with faces buried under wings of angels, ignoring the cries below. Firebrands snatched from the fire, In spite of tyrannical forces, in spite of the voices calling out the names of those carried away.
