Dont mind me while I get a tad sappy... January 16th 2014: I had no band, no direction, no motivation and I questioned why I even bothered with anything. To get out of my slump I decided to set a couple goals and accomplish them by the end of the year. My goals were to start a band, play 5 legit bar shows and record an album. In my life Ive often found failure in most of my endeavors, Ive came close to a lot of goals but came up short every. damn. time. Ive seriously made an art form out of failure, Im a god damn perfectionist at at failing. One thing failure has taught me though is never quit..ever. If you grind your butt off and work until you lose your mind eventually... someway..somehow.. somebody will notice... guess what? Saturday night at Lucky Bar, Victoria was our bands 5th show. guess what else? December 5/6th we will be heading back to the studio to finish off our record. Aint that something crazy? What a trip. I need to thank first and for most Kim Bond and all of the Bond family along with Stew Gordon because none of this would have happened without them. the band Im honoured to play with Mike English Ben Smith Rhys Harrhy Reggie Bast Danny Vacon & Jesse Roper for taking the time to answer any dumb question i had for em Chris Mullet Man Mackey & Derry Hunley & The entire Saunders family for general awesomeness Josh Bloomenthal & Mark Goodwin for always having my back and then all the other bands who helped us this year. Redwood Green Jonathan Ballantine & SpaceBoots Jo Sh & Ellice Blackout Marty Boggs Johnny Regimbal& Deep Sea Gypsies & Illvis Freshly.... Most importantly thank you to every single person who has gave money and time to come to our shows and or support us in any other way, this year has been incredible.
