The Bank Street shuttle location is beside Tammy Eddy Antiques and Interiors and the Second Avenue shuttle location is in the Alabama Center for the Arts’ parking lot. Music Main stage will be located on Bank Street and will feature the “Jeff Whitlow and the Old Barn Band” from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Six other musicians/groups will be located outside throughout Downtown: Tim Cannon – on Bank Street by Tallulah’s Kim Stone – by Bank Street Green Food Court The Morgan County Dulcimer Association – on Bank Street Mad Hatters – on Second Avenue by The Antique Basket Kevin Teague and Shawn Ferguson – on Second Avenue in Casa Grande Park TBA – on Moulton Street by Downtown Dawgs Jason Crow – on Second Avenue by Emiron Music Entertainment inside Downtown Restaurants: Moe’s Original Bar-B-Que: The Wheelers from 9:15 until midnight Simp McGhee’s: Julian Carter from 6:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Artists and Vendors The Market on Bank Street featuring Artists, Handmade Goods and Locally Grown Fresh Produce Handmade Goods Vendors on Second Avenue Food Bank Street Food Court – featuring favorites from local restaurants: Ingalls Entertainment – Beverages Bank Street Green - Burgers Downtown Dawgs The Big Easy Chuck Wagon Attractions and Events Classic and Antique Cars will be displayed on Second Avenue Kids Zone located on Second Avenue by Bank Independent Carnegie Visual Arts Center will have Children’s Activities and Art on Bank Street Chalk Art Challenge - The Carnegie Visual Arts Center will host a street chalk art contest in the 700 block of Bank Street. The Challenge will let area students create works of art with one box of sidewalk chalk per artist! The finished drawings will be judged with the winners receiving gift certificates from downtown stores and restaurants. Prepare to be amazed at the talent of our artists! Downtown Dawgs will host their annual hot dog eating contest in Jones Park at 7 p.m. Register at Downtown Dawgs. Bank Street Players will perform songs from their upcoming show, “Smoke on the Mountain” on Second Avenue and Bank Street Volunteer Center of Morgan County will host “The Amazing Duck Race” throughout downtown, with the finish and Ducky Derby at the Old State Bank. Point Mallard Ducks Junior Ice Hockey Team will give away snow cones and information about their new team in front of Decatur Engravers on Bank Street Alabama Center for the Arts will host “Pop Goes the Artist” and have a Kids’ Art Camp Tent, as well as free tours of the facility The Old State Bank will offer free tours until 7 p.m. In-Store Events Beautiful Edge – A Paul Mitchell Focus Salon will offer red and blue hair extensions under the Princess Theatre marquee from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Cottage House will provide a cool water station for any dogs attending 3rd Friday How Bazaar will have Lynn Lawrence doing a live Bob Ross style painting demonstration. Lynn is a local artist that teaches painting and does local painting parties. The Cupboard will have Honeypie Bakery, Clover Coffee, and Jala Jala Foods in the store offering samples The Paper Chase, along with Junior League of Morgan County, will host Decatur native and author Jen Doll for a signing and reading of her new book, “Save the Date: The Occasional Mortifications of a Serial Wedding Guest”
