Dont miss this month’s Morning Networking. Friday, August 1st - 8:30am. Our speaker is Ben Teague – Executive Director of the Asheville – Buncombe County Economic Development Coalition (EDC). The Mission of the EDC is to attract, create and expand business opportunities. Staff advances commercial, industrial and civic development; encourages the economic and social progress of the Asheville area; works with the city, county, and state governments to facilitate the production and distribution of goods and services; and encourages an atmosphere in which private enterprise may operate profitably and efficiently. Ben will be giving us a brief introduction to the EDC and provide insight into some of its current initiatives and recent successes.
