Dont take our word for it .... read the wonderful guest comments received after the Elephant BBQ event on Saturday, 19th July: The experience was amazing and exceeded all of my expectations; I was over the moon to be able to get so close to the elephants in such a laid back environment. Having been slightly obsessed with elephants ever since I can remember, I have been to every zoo up and down the country to see the animals at their best but this event topped them all by a mile. I have to give a huge thank you to the keepers who made the day. They did a fantastic job at letting us get close to the animals whilst remaining calm and collected. And even at the end of what I can imagine was a very long day, they were there smiling and laughing and doing a great job. (Maybe next year they can have two drinks at the bar afterwards!) Overall I am so pleased with the day; I felt it needed an email as not many people send their admirations over complaints. Same time next year?
