Dont try and appeal to me with the loss of your family now. Youre surety that you have a wonderful person in your life is of no solace to me either. You had another wonderful person who came into the world 17 years ago that you abandoned. You dont even know how to spell her name correctly, what her favorite color is, what she wants to be when she is older, that she was in gifted and talented, or the way her nose wrinkles when she laughs. You dont know what these 17 years have been like because you were/are a selfish, drug addicted, lying, manipulative, coward. You jump from woman to woman, each with lower self esteem than the last, reassuring them once they find out you have a child, with whom you have no relationship that it was, just a misunderstanding, or she wont let me see my child. Did you forget that you had a child? Were you not there for her birth? How was anything, ever misunderstood about that? Fact of the matter is your child has no idea who you are and no desire to. She rolls her eyes with each meaningless friend request you send or with each message your latest wonder person sends proclaiming your awesomeness and miraculous turn around. You see, she remembers who was there for her all these years, who has loved her, held her, fed her, clothed her, praised her, and raised her into the beautiful young woman she is today. She far surpasses anything you ever couldve been intellectually and emotionally, for that I am eternally thankful. Theres nothing you could ever say or do to repair the damage youve done. The best thing you could do for humanity as a whole, is to fade away into the world and never remind us of your existence again. Maybe contract the Ebola virus or snort a line of anthrax. Take a long walk off a short pier, play in traffic, or relapse into your drug induced funk and smoke until your heart explodes.
