† Don’t Become A Statue † And Moses said to the people, Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again. The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent. The LORD said to Moses, Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward. Exodus 14:13–16 ESV Moses and the Israelites stood on the bank of the river with the Egyptian army closing in on them. He had just finished a great faith filled speech about fear and said that the enemy that you see today, you will never see again. The following verse the Lord asked him: “Why do cry to Me? Tell the people to go forward.” Sometimes we can become paralyzed waiting to know the will of God. Sure we need to pray and listen, but do we really need seven confirmations to get started? A car can only be steered while moving and often the Lord speaks to us after we start the journey. If you miss Him, He will find you. When you feel Him calling you to do something, pray about it and move forward. Don’t become a statue.
