Don’t Miss Your Chance To Volunteer At The Milton Keynes Rugby World Cup 2015 Fanzone. October will be a very exciting time in Milton Keynes as Rugby World Cup 2015 comes to town. Campbell Park will host the Fanzone between 1st October and 11th October and there’ll be plenty of opportunities to volunteer at this special event. If you’d like to find out more about how you can be involved an information event is being held from 6.30pm – 8pm on Thursday 15 October at Campbell Park Pavilion. Our team will be on hand to tell you about what’s planned for the Fanzone and to explain the many different volunteering roles that are available. Caroline Hawkins, Volunteer Coordinator at The Parks Trust, said: “We’re looking for Fanzone volunteers to take a variety of roles including meeting and greeting, stage and screen assistants, stewards and photographers. The closing date for registering your interest is 26 January so the information event is a great way to find out more.” To book a place at the information event please email volunteering@theparkstrust or call 01908 233600. You can also register your interest in volunteering by downloading an application form from theparkstrust or you can pick one up from The Parks Trust’s offices at Campbell Park Pavilion, 1300 Silbury Boulevard, Milton Keynes MK9 4AD during office hours. The closing date for registration is Monday 26 January 2015. Interviews for shortlisted candidates will take place in February 2015 and training will begin in April 2015.
