Don’t Wait to Apologize Sometimes we wait for our spouse to prompt us to apologize, e.g., we wait for their apology first. As a result, we can go a long while before getting any resolution in our relationship. Here’s my counsel: Don’t wait. If you were wrong, apologize. If you caused offense, apologize. If you responded inappropriately to the way your spouse treated you, apologize. It’s not going to kill you to apologize. In fact, it’s going to reveal the depth of God’s love in your heart. Don’t wait to apologize.
