Doodle Family/Friends- I cant begin to tell you how horrible the past few days have been. Yesterday evening Griffin Doyle was in extremely critical minute-to-minute condition and even as of this morning the prognosis was very bleak. But Im so grateful and pleased to tell everyone that your thoughts and prayers seem to be working!!!!! The doctor just left and I can barely contain my relief as she indicated since this morning Griffin has had a dramatic turnaround for the best. He is a fighter thats for sure! His fever is down to 102.6 (from 107.4) last night. His bloodwork and liver functions are almost back to normal. And he drank water and kept it down (all extremely positive signs). He still has violent diarrhea but its no longer bloody. They are going to carefully monitor him overnight but the doctor is optimistic Griff is on the road to recovery. Once he can eat and pass it successfully through his system he will be discharged (2-3 days probably). While there still is no confirmed diagnosis all signs point to a sever intestinal system infection. I will keep everyone in the loop as to what exactly happens in the upcoming days but the great news is I think he is getting better. Thanks again to each and everyone one of you for your thoughts and prayers. When you go to sleep tonight please hug your doodles especially tight tonight as life is fragile and they are all very special pups. Love you all!
