#Doom_Destiny_Demise (Part 6) Niyati lay down in bed trying to fall asleep. As her eyelids grew heavier each second due to fever and tiredness was taking her away, she couldnt help but feel something. Somewhere deep inside her she knew things were about to get ugly and that she should be scared for what was going to happen with her in future. She watched the moon disappear and reappear behind the clouds through her window. There is a chance I wont survive. I dont want to. No! I am a fighte rand its up to me if I want to survive or not. But, I had enough of life. I have no reason to live., Niyatis brain was muffled with thoughts. She sit there, on her bed hugging the pillow tightly and sudenly she saw her mother trying to catch a glimpse of her. There is so much she want to say to her, there is so much she could say to her but she dont know from where to start. She closed her eyes ignoring her and buried her face under her arms. Muffled sobs racked her trembling body. She was asleep and then suddenly she heard her parents fighting. She was habitual of these fights now, but This time it was something different. I wish Niyati die! I hate her. His dad screamed and she heard his footsteps heading towards her room. Not tonight. Please! She is our daughter! , Her mothers voice pleaded. Niyatis legs began to shake and she saw his father staring at her with lustful red eyes.. Her mother tried to protect her. She firmly held her husbands hand. Niyati felt hope, finally her mother was there to defend her. But within a second, that hope vanished, when her mothers gaze dropped to the floor. Niyati felt a pang in her heart. Her father stepped closer, making her drown in his intoxication. His breath smelt horrible. She felt the world caving as he took another step. The first blow came suddenly, she hadnt expected this. His first impact had impacted her right eye. She stumbled, trying to clear her vision. She was so preoccupied with her eye that she didnt saw his arm coming to her side, making her cry out in pain. She lost count how many times he kept punching her, collapsing her. She led the tears out that made him furious. Stop weeping! You pathetic child., He yelled out. Niyati mustered some courage, wiped her tears away and smashed the flowerpot placed next to her bed on his head. His father felt unconscious. Something within her changed, She could feel that. She never had such feeling before. Fight back!, she mumbled to herself. She felt like she got strength from somewhere. Stay away from me. Her voice was strong, commanding and full of confidence. His face scrunched up, confused of what had happened to him. Niyati quickly opened her window and started climbing out. She was starting on a small part of roof, she carefully moved to the side where she could get on the tree and climb down. She was next to the tree. didnt even noticed the uneven part of the roof and misplaced her foot, making her fall. She hung on the branch as her feet dangled in the air. Every inch of her body cried in pain. She could hear the faint voice of her father screaming and making her determined to continue on. She swayed her body and was successful in placing her feet on the lower branch. As soon as she caught her breath, she started making her way down an reached the ground. Niyati ran. The adrenaline kept her body moving. She was in a battle with herself. Everything told her to stop moving so that the pain could stop but she knew she couldnt do at this point. She didnt knew where was she running. She realized she was on the main road. Wheels were screeching loudly, bright headlights blinded her eye sight. A car stopped near her. The door opened and someone pulled her inside. ---That which does not kill us makes us stronger. P.S- Hope you all liked it. You all make my day when I read your comments. :) Thank you.
