Dorsey Tire Company, Inc. has an immediate opening for a full-time Commercial Sales Support Representative (CSSR) at our Pooler, Georgia location. Primary Job Purpose: Assist the Sales Department in promoting Dorsey Tire Company products and services, with existing accounts, using the Dorsey Tire Fleet Selling Process. Job Duties: 1. Use the Dorsey Tire Fleet Selling Process to sell new tires, retread tires, new wheels, refinished wheels, and a full range of other company services to trucking fleets and other tire dealers. 2. Increase account share at existing customers. 3. Prospect for new customers; sell company products and services to them. 4. Maintain an acceptable level of expenses (to be determined). 5. Become and stay knowledgeable about tires, retreads and industry-related issues. 6. Learn competitors strengths and weaknesses. 7. Depending on the location, pick up casings from customer to be retreaded and deliver them back, along with new tires, refinished wheels, and other items sold. 8. Complete all required paperwork accurately, legibly, and on time. 9. Perform tasks and functions as requested by the Sales Manager. 10. Maintain accurate and complete customer information and call recording utilizing CRM software or other methods endorsed by the Dorsey Tire Sales Division 11. Maintain assigned company vehicle and equipment in good working condition. 12. Assist credit department with collection of past due accounts. 13. Promote a positive image of Dorsey Tire Company, Inc. both during and after working hours. Minimum Job Requirements: 1. Must be able to perform required work in the assigned location, in accordance with all respective laws, rules and regulations of that state. 2. Physically capable of safely handling a medium truck and small OTR tires. Rolling tires in and out of customers work place and into/out of the company delivery truck or trailer. At times, this requires lifting tires and stacking them approximately 6 feet high. Tires sometimes weigh as much as 125 pounds. 3. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with clean driving history allowing you to drive the type of company vehicle required, typically a pick-up truck. (Note: All candidates will be screened through our insurance company before job offer is made). 4. Must be able to pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug test. 5. Possess and display acceptable job-related skills including, listening, speaking, selling,and negotiating 6. Be a valuable, contributing team player. Although most of the selling will be solo, this job requires that you be a willing, contributing member with your teammates 7. Abide by all terms and conditions of the company Employee Handbook 8.
