Doug Kruse Two of the things that I have grown to admire about our president are that he not only makes zero excuses for himself -- no complaints about his race, gender, childhood, broken home, social disadvantage -- and that he also makes his own decisions that he takes responsibility for; in brief: he is a real man, a real human being, worthy of respect in every way. It is a refreshing alternative to all the bitter whining, especially that which comes from individuals coddled in the lap of white privilege.
