Douglas Stanley , former producer for the Deadliest Catch, owns a video company in auburn California. He taught me everything I know, which includes editing for a show on direct tv. He took me in right out of high school and provided an internship and eventually a paid contract. I, however, was not paid for a significant amount of time that was promised in a contract. I am not slandering him, or creating a disturbance in his credibility, he did that to himself. Please, please, I urge you not to support terrible business. They have claimed to bring jobs and opportunities to Auburn, yet the money isnt there. Although I an credited for 3 episodes of a tv show, I will not stand for business who take advantage of anyone. Did you know every business must have an equal opportunities sign in their office, and our boss asked me about a great person who happened to be autistic, he asked whether we should hire his or not based on his disability. This is criminal, stand up to injustice. This business contributed to underaged drinking and we lied to the building manager about using their warehouse. We would store gear in the warehouse to declutter our office, but we never rented the space. Businesses are not people, corporations are not people, and LLCs are about as legit as a Super PAC. This message is not intended to slander the business, or its partners, nor its founder Douglas Stanley, this is merely truth, and anything in this that is not found to be truth in the future I will take back. But this is truth, I have no reason to lie, good people still work there, along with criminals who feel they can break the law at will. Thanks for the read, leave a comment, if you agree, like the status, if you need to add more, comment. I want to hear the good, bad, and ugly, tell me Im wrong, but use yours words. Let me know if there is support or if Im just a mad man. I will be heading to the next city council meeting if anyone would like to join the debate to expel a business who refuses to pay their employees. Question is, would you work for free, be a slave to their system of injustice.
