Dr. Briggs India Travel Grant 2015 for Healthcare & Wellness Professionals India’s first travel for transformation initiative – IFT – has launched the aforementioned award to encourage students, entrepreneurs and working professionals from Healthcare and wellness related backgrounds to apply for its annual travel program - Seven Pitstops For Change – to be held thrice a year starting from March 2015. The idea behind this journey is to get 40 travel enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds – art, music, design, healthcare, theater, business and education among other fields- for a 15 day journey in India. The group will undergo an inspiring journey with seven pitstops filled with several unimaginable life experiences – be it living among Indian rural artisans, mirroring the life of yogis, transforming lives for real and introspecting on future life in the backdrop of an inspiring shrine – such that the participants leave India with a new born vision, impact and passion to lead a meaningful life. Individuals with proven leadership potential in areas related to the aforementioned travel grant are encouraged to appear for the screening process. Individuals from other backgrounds may explore one of the 11 Grant fields listed on IFT’s website or may also apply through the General Registration process. The Journey is Invite Only and admissions are offered on the first-come-first-served basis.
