Dr. Harold Latham, 89, Georgia District Superintendent Emeriti, died Wednesday, December10th, following a brief hospitalization in Macon. Dr. Latham served the Georgia District for some 15 years as District Superintendent and following his retirement as D.S. he served as pastor at Barnesville Church of the Nazarene and was loved by all. Dr. Latham was born in Columbus, GA and was preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy. He was a World Word War II veteran and served his country in four major invasions; served in public relations at Trevecca Nazarene University. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Latham, two sons, six grandchildren, ten greatgrandchildren; two nieces, Mrs. Mary Jones of Nashville, Tennessee and Mrs. Betty Rogers of Locust Grove, GA. Visitation will be Sunday evening at Williams Funeral Home, 513 Rose Avenue, Barnesville, GA at 6:30-8:30 p.m.; the funeral service will be Monday at 11 am at Barnesville Church of the Nazarene with Dr. Patrick Latham, Dr. R. E. Rogers and Rev. Lonnie Grant officiating. Interment will be at 3 p.m. in Park Hill Cemetery in Columbus.
