Dr, Martin Luther King said in his I have a dream speech about a nation that would judge a person by the content of ones character rather than color of skin! The naacp just mailed me some letter requesting my family to vote yes on the amendment 2 issue in the upcoming election. If the majority Tennesseans vote yes it would mean that we would change the Tennessee Constitution, which states that we should vote for our leaders,(judges in the appellate court), rather than some one pick them for us! We have enough sense to vote for what judge has integrity or not to judge our lives and our children. Tennessee has a long history of allowing the good ole boy political system of the judiciary to judge themselves rather than the public. Their are (and has been for years) blacks in this good old boy system and they are determined to take our freedom of voting choice as the kkk was. I know of a juvenile,now deceased, that was arrested and indicted of a committing a crime with me!( Etienne Harmon). I was this young man elder! The Shelby County DA office could not persuade this young man to lie against me and winds up dead! The judiciary in Tennessee is so corrupted and connected that issues like this get swept under the rug! Voting No to amendment 2 means that the people will vote for or against the judges at the appellate level. The love of money is the root of all evil and that evil has persuaded the naacp to try and influence blacks in Shelby County to vote yes on this issue! I am advising my family and friends, both black and white, to vote no on amendment 2!
