Dr Meinya greets Muslim community on eve of Eid MU NEWS/IMPHAL, July 28 : Manipur’s inner Lok Sabha MP Dr Thokchom Meinya has greeted the muslim community in the state on the eve of the Eid-ul-Fitr 2014 festival. In his greetings, the MP has stated that month-long Ramadan 2014 ends on the evening of Monday, July 28 and the end of Ramadan is celebrated with a holiday called Eid-ul-Fitr, which is also known as “The Feast of Fast Breaking”. “We shall now celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Tuesday, July 29”, says MP in a message. On this auspicious occasion, the MP expressed his solemn desire to maintain peace and harmony amongst the people of Manipur. “Let the Almighty Allah bless all of us a Happy, Peaceful and Prosperous Manipur,” he felt.
