Dr. Mohammad Jahangir Hossain, Program Manager and Team Leader, SwimSafe project and Dr. Md. Kamran Ul Baset, Senior Scientist and Team Leader, SoLiD project of CIPRB are going to attend 20th IEA World Congress of Epidemiology at Anchorage, Alaska, USA from 17th to 21st August 2014. Dr. Hossain will present two scientific papers titled “First Aid and CPR through Community based Swimming Instructors in Rural areas of Bangladesh” and Epidemiology of electrical injury: Findings from a community based national survey in Bangladesh. Dr. Kamran will also present two scientific papers titled Understanding road traffic injuries and prevention measures for children in rural Bangladesh: A qualitative study of community members view and Social Autopsy: A new intervention method in preventing road traffic injuries—Experience from rural Bangladesh.
