Dr Richard Emmert was my pastor as a kid. Many of my teenage years where spent in church every chance I got Monday night visitation, Wednesday night all day Sundays and even in the activities center. Manley was my home away from home and I had a great youth minister Eddie Baker who I consider my brother to this day and Sherry Lea Simmons Sharp and Allen who will always be my second momma and dad! I owe a lot to the Manley. It help mold me into a better person when I needed it most. When I first got divorced and moved back home feeling like a complete failure his son Joe prayed with me and allowed me to work with the youth for this Manley will always be special to me. Doc always grabbed me and asked me how I was and always called me Johnny Be Good and always told me your momma is praying for u. He will be truly missed. Thanks Doc and to all those that served with him for Gods greater purpose.
