Dr. Shinto was just contacted by Be The Match (of the National Marrow Donor Program) and told that he is a potential match for a specific patient. There will be further testing and we will keep you posted. Dr. Shinto would like to encourage everyone to consider registering as a potential bone marrow donor with bethematch.org/ and offer hope and maybe life to a patient. Its a simple cheek swab and the donation is as easy as giving blood. His cousin, Krissy Kobata, is a patient in need of a bone marrow donor. The more people in the registry, the more that can be saved. Please help save a life!
