Dragonair wins ‘Best Airline Economy Class’ award Dragonair has been named as the ‘Best Airline Economy Class’ at the 2013 Business Traveller China Awards, as per a release. The award ceremony was held last week in Beijing. The awards, now in their ninth year, are decided by Mainland readers voting for their favourite travel brands and products. “I would like to thank all the Business Traveller China readers who voted for us this year. Mainland China is Dragonair’s core market and we are particularly pleased to be recognised by the country’s frequent travellers,” said Patrick Yeung, CEO, Dragonair. “We strive to provide the best-possible travel experience to our passengers and this award is clear acknowledgement of our efforts to deliver a consistently high standard of products and services,” he added. Earlier in 2013 Dragonair embarked on a full-scale in-flight product enhancement which includes the introduction of new Economy Class and Business Class cabins on the majority of aircraft together with a brand new on-demand in-flight entertainment system, Studio. The rollout of the new products will be completed later in 2014.
