Drape me, (Oh my) mother, and then leave... Save me for I am dispersed Take my sadness and seize it, You (my mother) are capable of making colors out of torment Hug me (Oh my) mother and then leave Leave as yeasterday leave... Oh mother you are (now just) a memory... You (were) a passing visitor (in this world) who spoke of a secret... Hug me (Oh my) mother and then leave Leave as yeasterday leave... You (were) a passing visitor (in this world) who spoke of a secret... Whenever I Called you mom, tears tickled my lid And whenever I Called you mom, a yearning attaches to me in the darkness of the nights Then my heart cries, asking the sun to shine in peace But the sun disappears...it leaves and does not return, it (the sun) leaves and does not return... So I walked my way alone, confused among the crowd And there remains one question troubling me... What a sadness carried along with me as a stranger? What happines did I ask for? As the wawes moved away (from me) with uncertainty... Maybe my life will pass, but all my dreams will not be more than a fog My breathe shivers in my chest with a question which has no answer... What happines did I ask for, when the face of my mother disappeared under the sand! O eye of the orphanage every child waits attentively with the return The return without a sadness... (A return) without a cry! O hearts that became transparent by a loss of a beloved and loss of a reunion... Return the orphans a happiness that left and disappeared! If you want to soften your heart, befriend (or look after) an orphan (Abu Darda)
