Drapey poncho complete! Heres my finished knitting project. Hard to take a photo while wearing it ! But Im very pleased with it . Its knit to the pattern for the Opium yarn but in Galaxy with a sparkle . Galaxy yarn hopefully in stock soon but do check out Deramores site . Really easy as just garter stitch so perfect for a beginner . It took exactly 5 x50 gram balls on 6mm and 5 and 1/2 mm needles, so really affordable too - I knitted it double (2 strands) as its a thinner yarn than opium , but exactly to the pattern otherwise. I picked the colour Mercury as I thought it would lift dark outfits and add a lovely sparkle but have to say I was tempted by the black . Hope you like it ?
