Drawing closes 5pm Labor Day. By my watch. Get Free Pomade. Read the interviews. Ask a question. Please specify of your question is for Ben Coley or Grace E Kirchgessner or both. Each question is an entry. Also if you volunteer for a giveaway you will also be entered. You can be a pomade user giving away something from their collection. Or a brewer. Or a retailer. If you volunteer for a giveaway and ask a question, thats two entries. Bens interview. Why pomade? How did it start? Ive been using pomade for bout 7-8 years now and I couldnt find one that was just right for my needs, so what the hell why not make my own. Which product is your favorite? My current play list -- of course Rogue SideShow Medium, Bukowskis Medium, and Roosters Medium. See a trend here. If I feel the need for any extra shine Maynards high shine and Tres flores add the needed Bling Is this full-time for you? Not at this time But only time will tell! What other influences has pomade & the community had on you? Any new-found interests? Since I have found the pomade groups on FB I actually have started looking in to shaving soaps and safety razors. All tho those of you have seen me might find that funny, they interest me none the less! If you could start over, what would you do differently? Found the magic ingredient to stop hair loss! maybe I can put Rogaine in a special old guy mix! lol Where do you see the pomade community of users and makers in the future? I think if everyone can be civil with each other (like is that damn hard) As a community we can help spread the word and turn new people on to what we obviously believe is a kick ass product! Where do you see yourself? Right Now? In front of my computer with a Beer. What plans do you have for the future? eg, your product/s, distribution, etc. I have some new holds on the way very soon. I will be releasing a light hair dressing, as well as a ultra-heavy........... Do you have any advice for new users? Brewers? If you are just starting out keep track of everything you do, if you make a candle chalk it up and start over again. Its always better to start from scratch so when you do get it right you know exactly what you did. Trust me I have a few candles hanging around here. If you couldnt do this, what would you do? Same things Im doing now raising my beautiful baby girl, painting/drawing and building my long term project car. _________________________________________ Graces interview. Why pomade? How did it start? We actually started with beard balm and oils. Once more time became available, we decided to branch off into pomade and other products. Which product is your favorite? Out of the pomades, I’d have to say our light. It was just one of those brews that didnt put up a fight and gave me exactly what I was looking for from the start. Because of that, I really took a liking to everything about it. Is this full-time for you? At the moment, yes it is. Any extra time is spent doing “behind” the scenes work for the barber shop. What other influences has pomade & the community had on you? Any newfound interests? When we started this, I didn’t realize how big and awesome the community is. Not only has our collection grown much bigger than it should be, but I’ve made some pretty cool friends along the way. We do have offer pre-shave oil but I would say that shaving products are our newest interest. We plan to be expanding the shaving line in the future. If you could start over, what would you do differently? When we first started, time only allowed brewing to be a hobby or a side job. If could go back, I would have found more time to focus on the line. Where do you see the pomade community of users and makers in the future? I’d really like to see the community keep evolving. Traditional cuts and products will always be our roots, but it’s also nice to see change as we go. As long as people stay open minded to those that step out of the box, I think it’ll just keep growing. Where do you see yourself? I’d like to see myself with piles of orders to ship out, but right now I’m just going with the flow. If it grows to more than just stocking our shop, that’s an added bonus. What plans do you have for the future? eg, your product/s, distribution, etc. Currently, a website is in the works and will go live soon. In addition to our line, we also sell some of our favorite products on the market: JS Sloane, Bona Fide, The Daimon Barber, Lockhart’s and AGS. Until the website goes live, we will offer regular deals and specials through our FB facebook/JusincredibleCutzBarbershop so keep your eyes open! Do you have any advice for new users? Brewers? New users, plan for your collection to grow large, very large. New brewers, you learn best by doing your own research and with a whole lot of trial and error. If you couldnt do this, what would you do? Travel the world. See the sights, eat some amazing cuisine, drink some fine wine and good beer! ;) In reality, I’d break out the scrubs and go back into the medical field. We will offer free shipping on all our Jusincredible products and any WB products we currently have in stock: JS Sloane Medium, JS Sloane Top Coat, JS Sloane Classic Moisturizing Shampoo, The Daimon Barber #1, Bona Fide’s Fiber Hold.
