Drawn Swords on Expectations Jesus is coming soon in judgment - TopicsExpress

Drawn Swords on Expectations Jesus is coming soon in judgment (Matthew 25:31-46). Are we looking for judgment, or are we expecting removal before judgment happens? This is a important distinction with hugh practical psychological consequences. If we are expecting judgment, we will be working to avert it. If we are expecting REMOVAL before judgment, then we could care less. The temptation is to blame, rather than to individually face up. What are we REALLY EXPECTING? How can we profess to be looking for someone to come, and either have no idea of the context of their arrival, or else have the details all mixed up? Any moment secret pre-tribulation rapturism takes us off the horns of this knowledge dilemma by making TRUTH the first causality. Either way becomes a negative embarrassment with repercussions. But WHY NOT GET IT RIGHT? WE CAN DO THAT IF WE ARE SIMPLY WILLING TO TAKE AN INTEREST, PAY ATTENTION, AND PUT FOTH A LITTLE EFFORT. There is no excuse for a stone wall of indifference toward end-time Bible prophecy. That, in itself, is indicative of the the days of Noah. They knew not until the food came and took them all away. Why didnt they know? Because they had NO INTEREST AND NO DESIRE.
