Dreadful journey Part 17 She might have read that poem. She had deactivated her facebook account. I can’t open her profile. I again opened Rohan’s facebook profile. There were no photos in it. No status update and nothing. I opened ‘Friends’ and there I searched for many contacts and I got a name Vanshika Mehta, Ridhima’s room-mate in hostel. I messaged her to contact me at number 903xxxxxxx as soon as possible. I got Mrs. Pathak’s facebook profile too, I immediately rushed to police for this piece of information. I explained everything to the policeman. They were ready to contact and inform Mrs. Pathak at any cost. It was not a heroic from me, but there was a ray of hope that I could see from my bare eyes. I could help him and I will do anything. My parents hugged me and I asked them to return as I will be staying in Gwalior till I got any other news about Rohan. My father gave me 10000 Rs and left from there. I dropped them at railway station. After an hour I got a call from an unknown number. I accepted it, “Hello Rohan, where are you these days and idiot can’t you whatsapp me?” A female voice came from other end. “Hello, I am Rohan’s friend and I want to talk to you something very important” I said very patiently. “Okay so say” she said. I explained her everything and she started crying. I asked her not to worry, he will be fine but she did not start crying. She asked me to tell me where he is being admitted. I gave her the address details. There police had informed me that they had taught about this to Mrs. Pathak too and she is arriving here soon. Here the doctors had operated him and has said that he is out of danger now, but there are some major fractures so it will take a long time to recover. Things had started again. I believed that neither life nor death is so easy. Next day Mrs. Pathak had arrived with a team of best doctors but that hospital management did not allow the doctors who were with Mrs. Pathak to treat him in their hospital so we had moved him to government city hospital. In next two hours Vanshika and two other boys had also came there. They were crying. They greeted me and hugged me while saying thanks to save their friends life. We were all crying, this gathering of people make me believe how good Rohan is. I explained everything to everyone out there. “Who is Ridhima among you?” asked the doctor who came along with Mrs. Pathak. Vanshika said eagerly, “She is not here. But why are you asking?” “Rohan is speaking only this name” Doctor said in a surprised tone. It happened and yes an expected thing happened. I knew that if he will be alive he will be asking for her breath and yes he does. I asked Vanshika and her friends to tell me any information about Ridhima. Weeks had passed and no information came about Ridhima. There Rohan was screaming her name continuously. His words echoed in my ears. His innocent face came alive in front of my eyes. It happened like a bollywood movie where such scenes happens, at that time while watching such epic scenes I laugh for hours but now I am crying. This is happening in reality. He is crying, screaming, bawling while I was standing there helpless. Reality and reel life has only one difference while watching movies we don’t have fear, we always watch them thinking that the actor will be a hero and everything will be fine at the end but in reality there is fear. Fear of losing something or someone. That fear make us cry, at that time a hero in us thinks like a super hero but soon we are brought back to the fact that there is nothing in our hand. We have only one hero that is God and only one path that is destiny. I started seeking for help from anyone and then destiny came on way. I got another ray of hope... ~Prakhar “If you are loved by someone then this season is a blessing for you...May every drop of rain brings you love and affection. Awesome Autumn greets you.” P.S. I was so excited to share this post that I did it before time.
