Drifting wasnt so bad, really. It was especially easier now. A new place everyday broke up the time, and who didnt find it nice to look at different walls everyday? Sticking around the same ole place all the time made things boring, made time lull, and now a days its nicer for time to fly. There was no end in sight, ever but at least with the ever changing scenery it didnt seem like it had been nearly two years. Just yesterday she had been in Northern Georgia, today she was in the south, and had even managed to find herself at a beach. The summer sun was high in the sky, most likely around noon, and there was absolutely no one in sight. Miles and miles of blue ocean waves crashed against the unoccupied sandy shore. There could be nothing more beautiful. Cautiously the young, usually tough and serious young woman made her way towards the water. There was a salty breeze blowing in land, brushing through her long dark locks and over her sweaty, dirt covered skin. With one more double take of her surroundings Savannah quickly kicked off her shoes, shed her jacket and jeans and ran out into the water. Her fun lasted only a moment, washing away the dirt and worry of two years worth of soldiering on. The world today didnt allow for fun in more than short increments. By the time she had her jeans and shoes back on the faint sounds of groaning echoed in the air. As quickly as her fun had came it vanished and reality set back in. The beach had seemingly been untouched by the events of this world and that was how she was determined to make it stay. As the corpse stumbled upon the sand the fearless woman teased it by getting close and then starting back towards her vehicle. Just as the walker crossed over the sand and onto the pavement she shoved her knife through its skull. Back to work it was as she hopped into her jeep and started off to find food and water.
