Drive by our yard. Do it. See how lush and green and gorgeous it is (pats Bryce Macnab on the back for all his hard work!) We dont use these chemicals. We use kelp, chicken poop (yay chickens!), compost tea, etc etc. YOU DO NOT NEED THESE CHEMICALS. What you DO need, is bees. Lots of bees. And you are killing them>>>>Ya..you. My friend that just picked up a bag at Home Depot last week, or is filling up his/her sprayer to utilize this gorgeous weather and kill some weeds/pests/etc. Dont do it. Be informed. Do your part. Or else, in less years than you can possibly DREAM of, you can explain to your grandchildren why there is no food. And if you are interested in going a step further, like we did...get a hive. Its not as scary and horrid as you are thinking, and we can give you a wealth of info! Be the change my friends. If you take the lazy way out, you have no one to blame but yourselves when things go to hell. You can argue about climate change, organic food, antibiotics, etc etc all you want. What we cannot afford to argue about is the issue in the link below. Now read up.
