Driving May Be Linked To Skin Cancer Risks. The Columbus (OH) Dispatch (6/30, Santus) reports on the potential skin cancer risks associated with driving. Research published “in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology noted that skin cancer in the United States occurs on the left side of the body 53 percent of the time.” Meanwhile, “that percentage holds true almost identically for the right side of people in Europe and Australia, where the driver’s seat is on the right side of the car.”
