Driving around Maui today before going on the air in a few hours and I couldnt help but notice that the price of gasoline is creeping up towards $5 per gallon again (not counting Hana where its already over $5). Even the Costco gas pumps in Kahului are over $4. I wonder at what point, Hawaii residents will see gasoline prices similar to Europe? Were more than halfway there (I recall Turkeys price last summer was $9.98 versus Venezuela where it costs about $1.56 to fill up the 39-gallon tank of a Chevrolet Suburban).
