Driving my wifes car back from Winnipeg to Fort McMurray, I listened to the various sports call in radio shows on Sirius XM during the two-day journey. A sports junkie for facts and history....I called in a few times to give and opinion or make a few corrections or additions. Here were some of the calls. 1: Ty Cobb was not the highest paid athlete in the world of all time - with inflation to modern day - but bullfighter Manolete. 2: Bo Jackson and Deon Sanders were two amazing two-sport athlete but add to the list Wilt Chamberlain - MVP in NBA and also MVP in pro volleyball league. Also Winnipegger Gerry James played in the 1959 CFL Grey Cup and NHL Stanley Cup 3: Hosts on Mad Dog loved the trivia on Greek gladiator Theogenes winning more than 1,400 fights My fave moment though was asking Basketball Hall of Fame member Gail Goodrich how Wilt Chamberlain would fair in todays NBA. Without hesitation he said he would dominate...totally dominate. Nobody would be able to stop him. Yesssssssss
