Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures for Next Week Drop Off All students enter the school by the Winchester Gate. Parents can drop off by car in the Valet Line, or park and walk up to the gate. If your child can independently walk to the Winchester Gate, you can drop them off in the drive up line on Lake. This line moves very quickly from about 7:45 am - 8:00 am. Please pull all the way down to the front of the school. Without after school programs for the first couple of weeks of school, it is more important than ever to follow the pick up procedures as ALL students will be exiting school at their class bell. Pick Up Kinder Kinder students are picked up at the gates on Lake and Justin. Look for your teachers name posted on the gate, line up and wait to sign out your child. 1st - 6th Grades First grade through sixth grade leave from either the drive up gate (at the back of the auditorium) or the walk up gate on Winchester. Please let your child know at which gate you will be picking them up, drive up or walk up, before they come to school. When waiting for students at the Winchester walk-up gate, please wait in the grassy area by the mural until you see your students class is out and lined up. Then, please line up along the fence. Please dont wave and shout at your student. Just give your students name to the volunteer or teacher when you get to the gate and they will be called to you. To improve the wait time at the drive up gate, put your students name placard in your car windshield so the teachers can call your student as you are pulling up. If you dont have one, they will be distributed at Back To School Night or just make your own. Remember those of you with siblings, it is not the office staffs responsibility to babysit between kinder and primary or primary and upper grade bells. Many parents sit outside with their younger kids or walk over to Griffith Manor Park while they wait for the second bell. Theres always a group over there.
